to and fro与to and from,back and forth有何区别

1. to and fro（来回，来来往往）起副词作用，主要用作状语：

They travel to and fro between London and Paris. 他们奔走于伦敦和巴黎之间。

The boat was rocking gently to and fro in the water. 小船在水中轻轻地来回摇荡。

She covered her face, rocking to and fro in her grief. 她捂住脸，悲痛得身体不住地颤动。
